Our new large size Cheshire Cat Clock is 15 inches in diameter and runs backwards! The motor is made in the U.S.A. and is designed to go backwards, while it appears to be running forward in a mirror image. Watch the second hand go counterclockwise while it keeps perfect time! Inspired by the original 1850's Sir John Tenniel's illustrations, our Cheshire Cat clock was conceived and is still made in our ocean side studio. The wood is cut, the art created, and the prints as well as assembly are all made here in Carmel, California. For more than 20 years these clocks have been a favorite with the likes of Sally Fields, Grace Slick, Weird Al Yankovich and many more. Laminated on birchwood, each clock is signed by the artist, Daniel Herron and comes with a metal hanger for wall placement or can be displayed on table surfaces using a 10" wooden easel. The clock comes wrapped and layered in tissue and protective foam to safeguard the delicate hands. We are a very small group of artists and we have sold thousands of these to individual customers.
